    I am one of the owner/operaters of the Friendly Foam Shop. We have been in business for 35 years and, in that time, we have logged over 212,500 customer sales. Of that amount, we have had 119 bad customer reviews/complaints, which leaves us with a customer satisfaction rating of 99.95 percent. I sincerely apologize to anyone that had a negative experience at our shop; a lot of what we do is custom work, and we can sometimes make errors/miscommunicate/have an off day. In my short time on this planet, I have also found that it is easier to complain than to compliment. Again, my apologies to anyone that felt we were negligent in any facet of our customer service/product offering. We're only human, and we do try our best.

    This is the greatest shop ever!! Awesome customer service and product knowledge. I came in to their shop with nothing more than basic dimensions for a window seat, and came awya a few weeks later with a covered cushion that absolutley fit, was perfect for my decor. It did take a while forthe cover to get done, but it was more than worth the time and effort!! Plus, they were substantially less $$ than everywhere else that I checked. HIghly recommended!!!

    The foam that I brought for our outdoor furniture was special ordered. After 3 months, I called to say that the foam seemed like it was not holding up. We do not sit outside that often. The foam did not feel firm anymore. The man that answered the phone was curt and quite rude to me. He said that I could not call to complain after several months of usage. However, I had bought the most expensive foam they had and was told that it should last for years, not months. I hope that this company does not treat other customers like this. Their product should hold to more than just twice weekly dinner for 3 months. I'm also a small person and I don't weigh much. The original foam on our furniture lasted us 7 years. This foam feels worse in three months than my original foam at the end of the 7 years.

    I went to the Friendly Foam shop by the UW because I saw it driving by. What a mistake!!!! They made many promises when I was trying to decide to spend $600 on foam at their store or another store. When I looked at what they had done, I come to find out that they had glued pieces of scrap foam to fill my items when I had paid a lot of $$ for full customized measured foam piecses. When I told them what I found, they were fighting me on every word and denying it. I'm going to have to have the shotty work redone somewhere else. I would not recommend going here!!!! I have gone to many different foam shops south of Seattle and always had good experiences so I know how much I should pay and what type of product I should get. This was by far the worst customer experience I've had in a long long time.
