Thu Jun 12 2008This is just a beautiful love story and so touching! Next to Embrace the Night, it is my second favorite Amanda Ashley book. I absolutely adored Rayven, the lonely vampire hero. I had such sympathy for Rhianna when her father had her auctioned off in order to buy food for his family. All together a very touching, beautiful romantic vampire romance.

Fri Oct 20 2006When Rayven buys Rhiannia its only to savor some of her life's blood to appease his hunger, or so he thinks. That is until her sweetness and innocence causes his stone heart to break and love for the first time. Rhiannia herself gets caught in Rayven's web of vampire magnetism and when she finds out his dark secert vows to stay with him as long as he allows. But will Rayven's devilish hunger take away the only good in his life? Or will he find a way to keep her with him forever? Read the book to find out!

Mon Jun 26 2006Amanda Ashley first introduce me to vampire romances, and for that I thank her. What some of the reviewers are forgetting is when this book was written 1997 (now that doesnt seem to long ago, but it was 9yrs ago) and that at the time this was the style for vampire romances. Now you don't have to like that style of course, but don't forget these are the stories that opened alot of doors for our newer authors. Amanda Ashley is still one of my favorite authors, she introduced me to the paranormal vampire romance, when I began to think that romances had run their course. I don't read for the reality I read to get away. So don't be to harsh on the oldies they are what they are. Classic!
