They then checked out other problems I was having in the house and genuinely did not try to charge me for anything extra. They were cheap, personable, and they did a great job! I was in my downstairs bathroom doing my business when I felt a drop of water hit the top of my head. I looked up and saw something that looked like a big boob hanging down from the ceiling. I remembered that my son had just taken a shower in the upstairs bathroom. I figured that the boob must have been a result of my son's shower. I had a plumbing company come out (no names mentioned) that advertised free estimates. Upon arrival, the company explained that the ceiling needed to be opened and a new waste and overflow and shower valve needed to be installed. The quote was more than a thousand dollars. :( I'm on a fixed income and explained that I could not afford this. The salesman/plumber kept pressuring me to make a desision. I finally got him to leave. I called A Better Plumbing Company for a second opinion. Jim went upstairs and ran the bathtub. No water drip. He went back upstairs and ran the shower. Drip drip drip. Monte is a fine plumber who knows the tools he's using! This man came out, and fixed our problem very fast. It has been fine ever since. Would recommend this company more than any other!!

We had a huge leak in one of our main lines (losing half a gallon per minute). Monte arrived 10 minutes after our first call - fixed the problem in 30 minutes!! In fact, after 4 other jobs he even took the time to stop by later that evening to make sure the leak was fixed. Unbelievably fair and honest price for the work done!! I would recommend them HANDS DOWN OVER ANYONE ELSE. Superlative service and honest, caring people - thank you!!

Snakes Down a Drain!! My kitchen drain was stubbornly clogged & Monte took care of it with courtesy & efficiency. He was unfazed by my hovering about & answered all of my plebian questions with knowledge & patience. I was also impressed with the receptionist whose names escapes me- however,she quoted rates & also kept me informed about when help wopuld be arriving. Although I hope not to have to call in the near future, I will definitely use A Better Plumbing company again & recommend it highly to friends.

On November 12, my water heater had given out. I called A-Better Plumbing and they arrived at my house about an hour later. When they arrived, they inspected my house and my water heater. They told me that they had to go pick up a new water. A-Better Plumbing arrived again about 15 minutes later with the new water heater, and they started installing right away. They finished about 2 hours later, I paid them and they went to help another person. If I have any more plumbing issues, I will call A-Better Plumbing.
