Thu Sep 21 2023So, I spent the weekend test-driving the Nissan X-Trail, and I've gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. At first glance, it's got this rugged yet modern look that screams 'adventure,' but it's also got the space for the whole family. I tried the 1.5-litre hybrid model, and don't let the small engine size fool you—it's got some kick, especially with the extra rear motor for four-wheel drive. Inside, it's super comfy and practical. It's got a similar vibe to the Qashqai but feels roomier. The multimedia system is easy to use, and there are enough USB ports to keep the kids' devices charged. The third-row seats are a bit tight, but they're perfect for short trips or younger kids. Driving it was a blast. It's got this almost-EV feel, thanks to its e-Power system, and it handles really well. It's a bit bumpy at low speeds, but once you hit the highway, it's smooth sailing.
