Prominent Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates arrested at his Home in Cambridge, MA 1

This Shakespearian act VI from, ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, is small scene of dueling testosterones, from the movie now showing everywhere. It is the clash of legitimate clichés; ‘I’m just doing my job’ (except military extermination of civilian populations) versus ‘A man’s home is his castle’ (except met-amphetamine cook houses). Harry Golden might have included this as a chapter in his book “Only In America”, but when it was written black men didn’t own houses in affluent (white) neighborhoods. Actually all ‘neighborhoods’ were white at the time; non-whites lived in ghettoes (African Americans), ‘towns’ (Asians) or on reservations (Native Americans). The bottom line is a badge is a badge is a badge.
