Dig Dug was released in 1982 by Atari and featured one of the stranger game premises of the era. The game controls remained simple with slightly more advanced graphics than previous games.

Another arcade great from Namco! This one even has good music! The gameplay is fun and diverse, and the goal is just to get the highest score. Still great to this day!
