Beautiful thinking. Now with the stock market situation, and the low bond prices, how well would people be doing? Kemp/Roth IRAs, as well as 401Ks should be enough places where folks can invest in the market. One's Social Security is like a life insureance policy. It is there when a person needs it. It isn't a gambling device. This was a way to run up the stock market to record highs, then the smart insiders could sell for huge profits.

11/25/2008 Now that the price has nose dived with the economy, I think that the energy to look toward the future will be on hold. It is laziness. Who else will show leadership regardless of a temporary down turn in oil prices? We can only hope. Once the World Economy picks up, things will be as bad as they ever were.

There has been very little done by Republicans that helps the middle class. How about the last eight years we loose the to inflation as the economy has grown? The little $150.00 energy rebate was pushed by the Democrats, she just signed on.

I doubt that there are very many of us R.I.A. members who have any idea how intelligent she is. Because Dan Quayle was nominated as VP didn't make him bright. I can think of quite a few politicians who aren't as sharp as many of the others. Unless one could see Anchorage news day-in, and day-out, we don't know.

Is it a family value to ignore the needs of your infant with downs syndrome? Is it a family value not to teach your children about contraception, and then concieve as a minor? Is it a family value to expose your 17yr old pregnant daughter to media scrutiny and public humiliation? This sounds a lot more like ambitious values to me.
