Irishgit is gone?

I'm not sure where he went, but I'm sure he'll be back momentarily. Anyway, I remember earlier in the year, he quit because of a dispute w/an RIA moderator or something like that, and he was gone for a day or something. Good guy w/good presence on the site, but why is he on this list? :)

I really miss the way this guy thought he knew everything and talked down to everyone by using words correctly. What a jerk!

Where'd he go? To his kitchen to grab a beer?

wow, I did not see on his user page that he announced he was done for awhile {or good} I have not written as much in the last few months. I hope he is just taking a break. he was a great writer and very smart. it would be a shame if he left for good.UPDATE: he has been back for awhile and glad he did.

I didn't miss him...

He came back to RIA shortly before I did. I can't imagine RIA without him. His reviews are witty, intelligent, and make you think.

He just hibernates from time to time like Yogi Bear, like a Yogi Bear you wouldn't want to argue with actually...

Unfortunately, I live with this miserable old bugger, so I don't get the privilege of missing him.

Perhaps next time, someone will have better aim.

I miss Irish, irritable yet excellent, and always a help to those who asked. 

And now Numbah doesn't have his rival at the top, he's strutting around like he owns the place...

Very respected reviewer on RIA. He was Rate-It-All!

Very sharp, learned, funny and prolific reviewer, who, even if you disagreed with some thought or opinion he might express, always made for fascinating, entertaining reading. I believe he's expressed the idea that he might return at some point to the website. I hope so. He's definitely missed.

I didn't have much personal contact with Irish, but we Irish have to stick together. From what I've seen he may be taking an extended break, which some of us have to do from time to time. I always enjoyed reading his stuff. Very knowledgeable.

It would be hard to believe that irishgit would leave forever. I think he is resting.

Sharp-witted, and was always nice to me.

Although I didn't know that much about him, he seemed to have good reviews.

Since i hardly post here anymore i did not know he left. I will always remember him bashing my comments about bodily functions, and mexicans.

One of the few names worth remembering around here- great baseball knowledge. . .underrated writer.

Irishgit left his page up so hopefully he will be back. He was a great reviewer, but I don't blame people for taking a break now and then.
