Wikipedia

Anything you search for on the internet on the search engine listings, one of the 1st listings is a Wikipedia entry, also, I believe anyone can type in their own Wikipedia entry, that makes their listings prone to errors unless they have good editors.

One of the best online encyclopedias with plenty of cross-linking and easy navigation.

 Depends on what it is. There are some pages that are very well put together and very informative. There are also pages that make me want to put on a tin foil hat when I read them. Most schools do not accept Wikipedia as a legitimate source for research papers and such, and there is good reason for that. I have noticed the general moderating has improved recently, but I still don't consider it reliable.

It sometimes reminds me of a Benny Hill skit. Benny plays a game show host who is trying to railroad the old man out of a win so the pretty girl can go on to the bonus round. He asks the judges to check the spelling of a word, saying, "Look in the dictionary. Right there where I wrote it." 

Makes researching for personal enjoyment easier.
