	HistoryFan (98) 02/14/2008	So does the local news. They do this to get viewership. When Heath Ledger died, the local news said to tune in at 11 p.m. to see which Hollywood movie star died. 	drkseph (4) 01/15/2008	Hate it when they do that, especially things like "coming up, we'll show you what to avoid at the salad bar so you wont get ebola" and they keep saying it but you gotta watch two hours of crap before they finally get to that and usually you get bored, change the channel and resign yourself to not knowing what evils lurk in the salad bar at your local supermarket. 	James76255 (17) 01/10/2008	I absolutely hate when they do this. "Coming up later, we'll show you what happens when Britney Spears meets Queen Elizabeth!" Well, that sounds disturbingly interesting. I'd like to see that. They bring it up three or four more times, showing still pictures of Spears in her 70s style shades and a regal looking Queen Elizabeth wearing her crown next to each other. Finally, just as the credits start to roll, we hear, "As we leave you, let's see what happens when the Queen of the tabloids meets the Queen of England." We see a gum popping Britney walk into frame with Queen Elizabeth, and just as she starts to speak it breaks to Wheel of Fortune. Why in the name of all that is television holy do they lead us along only to show us essentially nothing? Makes me want to kick the screen in.
