 | FranksWildYears (48) 12/13/2007 | A defining turning point in Bowie's career (although admittedly he has one every 5-7 years), the song epitomized the transition from the plastic soul of Young Americans/Station to Station to the cold tech sound of his German period when he recorded in Berlin with Brian Eno and Iggy Pop. What I love about the song is that it carries you along on a droning rhythm and detached vocal that builds to a very emotional gut wrenching climax towards the end. One of his finest performances with great guitar work from the great Carlos Alomar throughout.

 | Going2Oahu (21) 12/11/2007 | While not a huge hit at the time, this song has gone on to become one of Bowie's signature tunes and is well known today for its appearance on lots of advertisements. It's probably Bowie's most-covered song after "Rebel Rebel".
