 | FranksWildYears (47) 12/03/2007 | The band soldiered on without Roger Waters and were able to muster the classic sound into a couple of radio hits, but it is of no substance. It would have been a mildly dissappointing swansong had they the good sense to call it a day after this one, but they unwisely chose to continue to milk the old girl for anouther two decades until she was a sad reminder of a once great and interesting band.

 | oscargamblesfro (75) 11/21/2007 | 1987 'comeback' album without Waters and with Gilmour in charge, with drummer Nick Mason and with original member keyboardist Rick Wright rather insultingly reduced to being on retainer or something- i.e. not granted full status. Not a very good album, an ersatz version of Pink Floyd- in essence, it's more of a Gilmour solo album and it hasn't aged particularly well, though there are a few tolerable cuts.
