 | CleverElsie (12) 12/21/2007 | Lung cancer remains the single most common cancer diagnosed in
both sexes in the United States and has an extremely high mortality
rate. Only 14% of patients diagnosed with lung cancer survive
beyond the five-year mark. Treatment is difficult, and as the
disease progresses, it becomes horribly painful.
