Signed up when it first started and was running between five and ten bucks a month. Adsense pays you when you get to $100 bucks. I reached $97 and got a form email from adsense that read something like: "Your account has been suspended because we believe you MAY (emphasis mine) have committed one or more of the following violations of the Adsense agreement: (There then followed a list of about thirty items, with no indication of which one or ones I was being slapped for.) If you wish to appeal this decision, please reply with full details and documentation proving that you did not commit this violation (s)" I figured "Fuck it," and forgot about it. It wasn't worth the effort to bother.

The 1 star rating is for the revenue sharing aspect of the site, not the site itself, which I still enjoy (sometimes, anyway), even in the current abandoned and decaying state. The real problem is that the revenue sharing is done through Google Adsense. My experience is basically the same as what Irishgit says below. I was getting relatively close to the $100 cutoff for getting a check, and then I got an email saying something about suspicious account activity. You can appeal it, but from my experience it's not worth it. I suspect Google Adsense has no intention of ever paying most people. I considered not using any Google products after this happened, but their stuff just works too well compared to the alternatives.

I actually got the hundred bucks, which was nice (spent it on Star Wars stuff, no doubt), but I can't say you get a return worth talking about doing this, plus the way they cut pretty much everyone off seems suspicious.

I never signed up. I think that back when the site was enough of a going concern to actually pay off, I was only writing the odd review from time to time. If I ever trip across one of my old reviews I cringe a bit and realize that I wouldn't have paid me for them either.

I can't wait! I've picked out my boat and I'm starting to look for my own private island when my checks start rolling in.

I don't know how to rate this since I've never participated in this program, but I'm sure that if it were a success, we'd have heard about it from numbah. I created Google Alerts for Rateitall and this one just arrived this morning. If I were to base RIA's success on the frequency of Google Alerts, then we're not really here and this review doesn't exist. Maybe someone is willing to step up and help this lady? http://www.webanswers.com/jobs-careers/is-anyone-on-the-site-rateitall-be1d35 Anybody? Anybody?

I like the idea of adsense revenue sharing on Rate it all though I would like to see some kind of assistance page or a forum so that I could learn how to do it proprely and make some money. It's difficult to invest your time somewhere's when you are unsure of the results you will get and I have lost a precious amount of time on to many sites. I love the site though and will keep rating.

Simple to use, and a fair revenue share for very little effort. I think RateItAll will be around for a long time, and it's alot of fun to use.

Money for doing what I'm going to do anyways, can't knock that, even if it is a negligible amount (not going to quit my day job anytime soon).  Takes a minimal amount of effort to sign up for adsense, and you really don't have to do any upkeep.

One of the best in the category - you see, this list is posted here, and not some other Web Site. When you contribute to the RateItAll community - whether it be by creating Weblists, creating new listings for existing ratings lists, creating a user profile with a picture, or referring friends, you get your income share in the advertising revenue associated with those contributions through AdSense with 50/50 split. RateItAll will help you to establish your Adsense account and will take care on Adsense acceptance of your page. A Must!
