Nothing special. Not horrible but not worth remembering.

Sometimes this band gets lumped in with the early 70's hard rock acts like Grand Funk Railroad or the James Gang, but really put out a sort of mix of mostly soul/hard rock with pop and occasional progressive tendencies. They had some pretty big hits in the early 70's, a few originals and some covers of well known r&b; acts like The Temptations. Probably the most successful white act on the Motown label, there was a Motown subsidiary with the same name as this band that focused on rock and had bands like The Pretty Things on their roster. This was a below average band of the time, with little to recommend about them in my opinion...
