 | oscargamblesfro (76) 07/19/2007 | Sometimes this band gets lumped in with the early 70's hard rock acts like Grand Funk Railroad or the James Gang, but really put out a sort of mix of mostly soul/hard rock with pop and occasional progressive tendencies. They had some pretty big hits in the early 70's, a few originals and some covers of well known r&b; acts like The Temptations. Probably the most successful white act on the Motown label, there was a Motown subsidiary with the same name as this band that focused on rock and had bands like The Pretty Things on their roster. This was a below average band of the time, with little to recommend about them in my opinion...
