Tanqueray No. 10

No. 10 is an excellent gin. I think one of the best. I've had tried Tangueray (round bottle), New Amsterdam, Bombay Sapphire, Beefeaters and Citadelle Gin. Some gins come close to its flavor but No. 10 is a winner. As long as I can afford it, I will keep buying it.

This is the best gin I've had. It goes great neat and has a roundness unlike most others. It's hard to find in some bars and I'll usually pass on gin if the don't have it.

An outstanding gin. This is the only gin I think I'd prefer to drink straight because it's an already well balanced drink. The more apparent botanicals in this one are citrus instead of juniper, but don't think it's a more expensive Rangpur, because it does have a juniper taste. As I said before about drinking it straight and balance, it's a very smooth liquor and it doesn't hint at that el cheapo burn like so many others. This gin has made the best gin & tonic, and martini I've ever had.

The best gin out there. Smooth. Worth the premium price.

I prefer Bombay stirred w/ ice and strained into a martini glass w/ a couple of olives stuffed w/ stilton; however, #10 is the only gin I like neat.

Gin is a liquor with an acquired taste, and Tanqueray 10 is a gin that newcomer's probably shouldn't start with. The flavors have a lot of bite with this gin, and I can see why many wouldn't care for its taste. I think its a good option on the rocks, although I don't often drink gin this way.

Not a s good as Bombay Saphire but very similar. The original Tanq is the tops though...

This is an excellent, aromatic, flavorful, very smooth gin that is truly appreciated straight, on the rocks or in a gin and tonic or a Martini.
