Gomez is going to have a hard time against a seasoned boxer with great strength and ability. I would consider this a good fight if it last' s more than 8 rounds. Gomez is a good fighter but I feel that he picked a hard fight to win against this 3 time champion!!! I will rate this 4 stars because I have not had the chance to see Gomez in action since the contender! I do think that if the night is right Gomez certainly has the ability, but feel that the former champion in my opinion is still a very good fighter and he might just punish Gomez!!!  It's hard for me to comment when I have really only seen Gatti in action!!!! Saying all that I do side with Gomez because of what I saw from him in The Contender. May the best man win!!!
