I love the apple's iPhone, And i am very happy when i heard the news that apple is going to release iPhone 5. Which is just the next gen. There are lots of rumor regarding it. But anyway one thing is sure that it will bring lot more exciting features with it. So really the launching of iPhone 5 is a great news for all apple fans.

I never upgraded myself from the free standard flip phone I got 10 years ago until I bought an iPhone a couple weeks ago for work. While I was annoyed at first with the new way to text and all the scrolling involved with finding contacts, I really like it now. I only downloaded 1 app, and doubt I will be an app freak, but really like the camera on here and the Internet access.

I love my iPhone 4. The battery is better than the previous iPhone, the screen resolution is amazing, and the HD video is a great convenience.

I have never been much of a gadget person until the Iphone came out. It's incredibly useful and extremely user friendly. I have to agree with other reviewers about its battery power though. There's lots of room for improvement there.

After a few strong recommendations from my friends and my brothers, I've set my heart on one of these before the end of 2009. I was given one thanks to my loving husband, who got the hint after I mentioned how much I'd like to have one many times just right before Christmas. While in the store, the Telus sales representative had tried very hard to discourage me from buying an iphone. I then asked him what he would recommend, he said a Blackberry. I found out soon that the newest Blackberry has an internal memory next to nothing, and with a memory card expansion up to 2 GB. Wow I said. The $300 iphone has 32 GB and the Blackberry would still cost $200. That made my decision fast. Is 32 GB a lot of memory? Too much? In 3 years 32 GB would be a laughing matter. I have to say that it took me an hour playing around with it to get very comfortable with the phone. The touch pad for typing is a bit small and I didn't like that too much at first, but then I got very good at it much sooner than what I expected. The excitement came when I started uploading my songs, photos, movies, and applications to the phone. You can very well say none of which is needed, but when given the options, I'd like to have them all! One of the reasons why I'd wanted a smart phone so much is so I can take my movies with me to my car. Winters in Calgary is horrible mainly because half of the people here don't know how to drive. I often get stuck in traffic for no apparent reasons and wish I had a movie to watch instead of concentrating on getting frustrated with the average intelligence of human beings.I guess the most frustrating thing about Apple multimedia players is all files have to be uploaded to itune before they can be put on the phone. Instead of just copying over an mp3 file straight to the device, there's just this one extra step to do. However, once you've got the itune library organized, it's there forever and you can easily use it to manage all your multimedia files, not a bad thing after all. Sometimes you'll have to convert files to certain formats before itune can read it, but internet offers many solutions to solve those problems. Another great thing about Apple iphones is that there are indeed many (some said too many) applications you can download. A lot of them are free and the free ones are not necessarily bad or useless. If you feel like playing a game, most of them offer a free version and you can test drive it before you decide whether to pay real money for it or not. In most cases they're around $6 for each application and for a good game, that's not expensive at all. It's definitely a toy, and a fancy one for the time being. It's just like when the cell phone was first invented. You never thought you needed one, but once given one, you'll not want to live without it again.

The iPhone is rapidly becoming the "one-stop-shop" for all handheld portable entertainment needs. It offers music, mobile phone service, email, bluetooth, camera, and gaming. While not the original purpose of the iPhone, it is beginning to establish itself as a dominant player in the handheld platform video game industry. It offers unique game play features, similar to the Wii, such as an accelerometer that detects a users movement, and a multi-touch screen capable of recognizing pressure points at once. With its innovative App store where independent developers can release their own games for sale while maintaining industry high royalties of 70% Apple has been able to attract both amateur and professional game developers. The iPhone continues to improve each generation and the only major downside is it's expensive price for its bundle of features which all users may not find value in, and its forced service plan with AT&T.

The iPhone is overrated and overpriced. I want a phone so I can talk to people. I have a computer for everything else that contraption does.

Lena hit it on the head. I cant stop holding it, using it, thinking of what I can do with it

The perpetual access to information that the iPhone offers changes the way you approach life. Also, the user interface is damn near perfection.

I really like my iPhone, and I've had it for more than a year. That's a long time to really like a phone. I remember I was ready to throw my Motorola Razr through a wall after only a month or two.
Matt617 08/09/2008
Too expensive for something that's not necessary.
