The Gambler (Kenny Rogers)

I'm not a huge fan of much of Rogers' late 70s/early 80s pop-country sound, but there are a few good songs here and there. "The Gambler" and "Coward of the County" come to mind.

I don't think much of Kenny Rogers. In my view he has one good song, and this isn't it.

It's "Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In"

Four stars only because my dad had this record and it's probably the first song I remember hearing a lot as a kid, and actually liked. Not a Kenny Rogers fan now, but not a bad song really; after all you DO have to know when to hold 'em and know when to walk away, lol.
