Please don't go here! I went after reading the other reviews on this site and was sorely disappointed. Whether it was the drained waterways, steeping with stagnant mosquito water... or the stench of rotting beer and urine from the local admirers of this possibly once beautiful garden, we left after about 15 minutes of walking around. I was stunned as I looked at plants once alive, now scribed with hundreds maybe thousands of Latino children's names. There were trash cans all over the park, but the ground seemed just as good for beer cans and discarded popeyes cups. My favorite part was the three different time we saw migrant workers sleeping in the shade in various places throughout the garden. I know it is a free park, but I would of gladly paid to see this park in it old forgotten glory. Save your energy. This place is a dump.

It was so beautiful. It was like what you would picture the garden of eden.
