CS loves the sharks. I often fantasize about being a Bond villain who simply places his opponents into a shark-tank when they merely displease me. The lady wanted to go and I had a better time than I thought. It's crowded on weekends as American parents display their complete inability to control their children in public. But the museum's layout keeps people moving and event inconsiderate and overweight tiny trolls do not detract from the experience. Perfect place to go on a rainy/cold day thus you don't lose an entire day due to bad weather in Inner Harbor. If you go to B-more, this place is a must-see. . ..

The aquarium is a really nice place for the whole family. They have some really great exhibits and a dolphin show, which I didn't get to see because we wanted to check out more of Baltimore. However, the exhibits are super wonderful especially the habitats!

This is the best aquarium that I have ever been in, and possibly the saving grace of the city! They have all sorts of sea life to view and an amazon rain forest on top complete with piranhas and birds that might poop on you. There are sea lion shows outside and a huge shark tank that you can see from the inside and out!

If you are into fish, this is the place for you. It is an incredible park, and is broken up into different areas based on habitat. You can see fresh water scenarios, salt water and many others. Besides fish, you can see porpoises and other mammals.

Im from baltimore so ive been to the aquarium about 50 times. its is a great place to to see wildlife and the dolphin show is really cool and the newly renovated rainforest is great. the only downfall in my opinion is the price which is a little steep.

I'm a Marylander myself, so I may be a little biased, but I've been to about 5 different aquariums on the East Coast, and though I like pretty much all aquariums, this one has the neatest layout. This aquarium features a beautiful rainforest section (if you look around, you'll find toads and turtles and birds just roaming the area--it's a lot of fun to look for the animals in the dark), a pretty impressive shark exhibit, an okay dolphin show, a display of habitats that are beautiful and well-constructed, a huge pool with giant rays and little sharks, and a very impressive seahorse exhibit. It's a little frustrating with big crowds, but if you can get in when there's just a moderate crowd, it's much more enjoyable. They have a special for a few months out of the year (not in the sumer) where you can get in on Fridays after 5pm for $5 in admission, a GREAT deal! Please be prepared for a long walk, comfortable shoes are very important; if you don't want to see fish (yes, I've heard that c... Read more

Really neat exhibits and a fun place to go through. The biggest problem is trying to see it at a speed you are accustomed to, as there are always people behind you trying to push you to move faster.

Always a great time no matter how many times you visit. Remember to see the dolphin show. After you are done there are plenty of other attractions and way too many great restaurants within short walking distance.

This aquarium has a unique layout that lets you move along nicely, yet plenty of room to stop for as long as you like at any given display. The Seahorse display is FANTASTIC! The rainforrest was above and beyond in quality of the setting and the animals within. The staff in the rainforrest were the best I had ever encountered in such a setting they showed genuine interest and knowledge of the area & animals but more importantly they seemed to enjoy there job and the people they interacted with! The Aquarium is located at the inner harbor area and makes for one great day ~ for all ages.

Try and visit during the off-peak hours - and buy your tickets ahead of time if possible. Definitely a must-see!!! Located nicely in the inner-harbor, you can combine this with a nice tour of the shops and food vendors - and with the USS Constellation if you want to see what's on TOP of the water!

I enjoyed this more than any other aquarium I have visited around the country. The rain forest atrium on roof is really cool to see.

A great place to visit, if you are a Maryland native or a tourist. Always clean, informative guides and so many interesting things to check out. The entire Aquarium is so soothing to me. It is always a hit with kids too. Not too expensive for admission..a must see if you are strolling around the Inner Harbor for the day.
