03/04/2008 | Clint Eastwood definitely is one of the coolest dudes in the world. Even if you just considered his roles in the Rawhide TV series and his spaghetti westerns and Dirty Harry, you'd have to say he's cool. His perpetual scowl and bad-ass attitude won him a certain degree of coolness. But it's his work as a director that pushed him up to ultimate coolness. Who would'a thunk that an actor with his limited range could have the kind of talent as a director that puts him at the top of the league? He has directed a whole lot of excellent films. Yeah, he's cool.

From the time he was 'The Man with No Name' in Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns playing the laconic gunslinger with lightning-quick reflexes, to his recent emotionally-charged and thought-provoking masterpieces as an acclaimed director, Eastwood has added to the definition of cool as being able to achieve greater personal acclaim and glory at ANY age and at ANY time! What's scary is that the best may still lie ahead for Eastwood. Definitely, Eastwood is ultimately COOL!

12/20/2006 | he is cool. he usually plays the hero in the movie. or the the rebel fighting against wrong. not only is he a good actor he is a talented director. in his seventies and he is still a huge success. he has shown you can still keep on moving and age does not matter. he has been around since the 1950s. so good for him.

12/11/2006 | This man was too cool for school. One of those quiet cool types rather than in your face. Loved him in those cowboy films always the first to pull the gun and the last man standing.
