More power to those who prefer online shopping, I understand the appeal, but I'd rather shop directly from a store.

I've used Amazon.com before, but I'm such a last minute shopper that I don't think waiting for delivery will work for me. I'll more than likely get gifts the few days before Christmas.

Online is one of the easiest, most hassle-free ways to shop and Amazon is one of the best if not the best. I usually find exactly what I'm looking for here too. When dealing with the mail, you need to plan your strategy and shop early but, it's usually worth it.

I buy a lot of CDs and DVDs from them. No shipping charges for orders over $25 and no sales tax. Great selection and some super buys.

we have ordered from amazon com. they are very reliable. efficient. they offer good deals and specials. one plus is you can send a gift directly to the person you are buying the gift for. we have always had good luck with Amazon and it saves going to a store.

Since my family is 850+ miles away, the bulk of my shopping for the holidays has to be done online. My reasoning: as long as I shop for things like books or something (where the condition of the object is generally the same no matter where you buy it), online shopping is a good way of getting the job done. I can search for books that aren't in my local stores, and they're usually discounted to a point where the shipping charges are covered and then some. Plus, if it's damaged when it arrives, I know that I can get a gift certificate to compensate (which is generally not an option if I ship it myself). Why Amazon? Well, in the limited amount of experience I have with them, they seem pretty decent and reliable.
