11/07/2007 | To say Chimaira is the forefront of this era, is to say what MetallicA was in the 80's.
This is not to say these two bands share similar sounds cause MetallicA is old school , and Chimaira is new school, However Chimaira does prove a point of eminence. Chimaira have established their place in metal. They are exciting, they are fresh, and there music is catchy, unlike a majority of metal that sounds recycled, and mundane. I have fittingly enjoyed all 4 albums this group has released. Just when I didnt think anything they did would match up to their self titled release, Chimaira proved me wrong, and came out with "Ressurection", and I was sincerley impressed. This group just doesnt seem to run out of ideas. Melodies just seem to come to them, and flow respectively. So if your looking for a great metal band, that will deliver the goods, and at the same time keep you on your toes, look no further, Chimaira's got what you want, and all you want.
