 | oscargamblesfro (86) 10/16/2006 | M.L. Carr had some pretty productive years with Detroit before coming to Boston, where he was a bench player. He was a pretty decent player off the bench but used to annoy the hell out of me by waving a white rally towel around in a most action packed, cheesy manner that was sort of akin to when Hulk Hogan used to get all actiony whenever it seemed like he was going down in defeat. Sometimes Carr's towel waving worked, sometimes it didn't, but his relentless cheerleading antics used to bug me. Although I was a fan in my youth, I got sick of the team pretty quick and they're just another club to me now. Carr was the coach when they hit their absolute nadir in the mid to late 90's, which wasn't his fault, they just sucked.
