It's very hard to say since I have neither one of these problems, but going on what I know, I would have to say I would rather be deaf.

as a musician, i'd have to say blind. i could never go without my hearing. so i'll just get the eye-fixer surgery that i hear so much about.

I can't imagine a world without music- but people get most of their sensory information with their eyes- I would need my sight to get by in day to day life. . .

Deaf. I'm already slightly deaf in one ear due to industrial incident, and I've learned to compensate.

I can't imagine a world without sight.

I hope I never have to choose between these two, they equally awful choices. I perceive world with my eyes, so not being able to see would be devestating. I also love music, the sound of nature, and human voice(on the most past), so not being able to hear would be like leaving in the vacuum. After saying all that, I think (and I know it sounds horrable)being deaf is easier than being blind.

Tough choice since either one will make life much more challenging. If you had to choose a physical challenge, which would it be? I would choose deafness. I believe I would be able to have much more independence if I still had my sight.
