Jim Rome doesn't even look like this any more. I wonder if that's why he grew the mustache?

The fact is that this incident is pretty much Jim Rome's legacy....getting beat up by Jim Everett. Anyway, I can't think of many people who care for Jim Rome....maybe it's because I don't ask but I think I can just assume :)

Reminded me of the kind of "fights" most of us had in the schoolyard in elementary school. "I dare ya to say that again" "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it." "Say it again and you'll see." "You and whose army..." Calling Jim Rome a "reporter" is something of a stretch, and besides he has always bored me senseless. His supposed "shock sports jock" act was lame from the get go, and is now just a self parody. I thought Jack Rose, the character played by John McGinley in "Any Given Sunday" and supposedly based on Rome was far more interesting.

I know nothing of the history of the two individuals involved or the context of the interview, but the interviewer seems like a genuine asshole and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he gets punched by a guest during each broadcast.

Awesome. Jim Rome has the balls to say it one more time, Jim takes it way too seriously and backs up his threat. Ultimate showdown of "whose is bigger".

I never understood why Everett let the comment of Rome calling him "Kris" get under his skin. If Everett would have ignored it, Rome would have looked stupid.

Sure it was uncomfortable but Everett deserved it for letting Rome getting to him. Now Jim could have killed Rome but it was very funny.

Uncomfortable, I was sorry Everett didn't really deck that sorry S.O.B. Rome, who is nothing more than an arrogant sorry sack of fecal matter. This ignorant jerk has been polluting the airwaves with his garbage ideas and opinions and getting paid to do it because he would be too stupid to get a job at McDonalds so he became a sportscaster instead.

So disappointing not to see Rome get what he deserved which was "Chris" fist in the air, "POW" "POW" "POW!!!" Then, standing, in the dignified, gentlemanly way he was always known for, looking down saying, "Jim, I think this interview is over. " There is no justice . . .

Lets get a pause for Jim Everett knocking Rome on his ass... (Rome deserved it)

I wish every guest did this to Jim Rome. My respect for Jim Everett just went up tenfold.
