I agree with both Oscar's and Cablejockey's comments. There's something dreamily soothing and uplifting about this song. Very pretty.

The strings are really gorgeous on this one, a hit single in 1968. A slightly eerie pop/ psychedelic ballad with some interesting bass work, one part sounds like "Happy Trails." I always found them to be an occasionally bombastic bunch, but when they were 'on' they were capable of some nice music.
