No...just, no! Why would you even consider it, really? There are so many reasons for choosing NOT to get married so young. Things that come to mind: money to support a family and the fact that you had no time to figure out what you wanted with life, school being put on the backburner if you'd hoped to go etc1

Take a look at John Mark Karr, and remember that he married two girls under the age of 18. Anybody who is marrying somebody who hasn't turned 18 yet probably isn't all there. The teenage years are when people should begin dating...Understanding and accepting a lifelong committment to a relationship are definitely a little too much for people in this age range.3
