He has a huge schnoz, and will never qualify as a beauty contest winner, but I've never found him ugly in the way of Flavor Flav or Carrot Top. Lots of guys that look like him walking around NYC or Toledo, Ohio, where he's supposedly from. He's apparently very right-wing, and hasn't had much of a career since leaving M*A*S*H (liberal Hollywood bias or lack of talent of his part? You decide...). I've read recently that he said Alan Alda ruined the show by thinking of himself as God-like figure. I also believe he said Alda used to mock Gary Burghoff for his deformed hand. Not sure if either allegation is true, or whether Farr actually said it, but it does make it more interesting to watch the show when I happen across an episode of it on TV-Land.

His looks made the drag that much funnier... UPDATE: He's one of my favorite ugly people.

It is hard to imagine him as anyone but Klinger from M*A*S*H. He is probably more entertaining to watch than most of the characters in the show, second after Hawkeye. It's always interesting to see what the he'll wear - whether it's a sexy red evening gown (sexy without him wearing it) with a fur stole or if it's a simple sundress.

You just gotta love him as the shiek in the Cannonball Run movies!  "I love this song so much i wanna buy the company!"

When one contemplates the ugliness of Jamie Farr (aka Jameel Joseph Farah), one is hard pressed to imagine him as anyone other than the cross-dressing Corporal Klinger on "M*A*S*H". His angular and exaggerated (shall we dare say) semitic facial features didn't exactly compliment his wardrobe either. Not exactly someone to take home to mother or about whom one would brag to friends, Jamie Farr was born on July 1, 1934 in Toledo, OH.
