Another anthem for the gay populus. There was a brief moment where I enjoyed this song (I was about ten), before I became deeply ashamed of it.

Though it failed to break the American Top 40 when released, "It's Raining Men" (1983) has become a bit of a pop culture oddity and still gets decent play on the radio today. The Weather Girls (originally and appropriately called Two Tons Of Fun) included Martha Wash, who subsequently gained fame as a session singer (e.g. C+C Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat"). A little known fact is that Paul Shaffer (of the Blues Brothers and David Letterman fame) co-wrote this song, and the most notable cover is by Gerri Halliwell (often discounted but not that bad).
