Moving from a city like Rancho Cucamonga to Atlanta is not simple but I would dare to say my move was easy. Easy because I didnt do it myself. Instead, I hired the services of Nationwide Relocation Services and I must say, they are not lying when they say they are the leaders in the moving industry. My relocation was simple, fast, and under my budget. What else could I have asked for? So there goes my 4 stars for NRS team.

I wouldn't waste my time if it wasn't worth it. I just moved to Los Angeles and I am pretty new to everything around here and decided that for this first weeks i am gonna try as many places as possible and just write my experiences. Obviously, the first thing I did was move, so therefore here is my moving experience with Nationwide Relocation Services: William Bettler was my estimator... he is so funny and so nice. He made my transition so easy going from the moment he gave me a really good quote to the moment the movers delivered everything to my home. Bill actually beat the price I got from United Van Lines and he actually threw in there packing options making it a full service move. I do not know what I would have done if I had to move on my own. I will definitely use this company again and call for him personally because there is no way I could have pull this through on my own. So now, I am happily moved and ready to enjoy everything Los Angeles has to offer! By the way, anyo... Read more

I wanted to write about my recent move with Nationwide Relocation Services. When I moved into my dorm, I had help from my family, but when it was time to move into my own place I had to do it on my own. My mother insisted that I called you guys to help me move, so I did. The movers that came were pretty cool guys. When they got there, they got straight to work. They were able to move everything in a few hours and nothing was damaged in the process. They found my new place in no time and were even able to show me a shorter route from the school to my apartment. I was nervous about moving before calling but I feel a lot better about the whole process. Thanks for making my first move so easy.

I have always use professional movers when I have moved in the past, but I usually have to replace or repair something after moving so I vowed never to use professional movers again. When my company had me relocate from New Jersey to California in such short notice, I felt I had no choice but to use a moving company. It also didn’t help that my moving date was closer then I would have liked so with such a short amount of time, I had to do my research quick to find affordable movers. I came across Nationwide Relocation Services, I found good and bad things about them online but I wasn’t afraid to give them a chance since their prices were within my range. On moving day, much to my surprise everything went perfect (didn’t even have to replace or repair a single thing). The movers they sent were punctual unlike most of the moving companies I had used in the past, and they were actually approachable which made it easy to ask questions about what was going on with my possessions. They were ... Read more

On October 23, 2010 I moved from Concord, North Carolina to Fort Worth, Texas. I couldn't have done it without the help of Nationwide Relocation Services. I extend my thanks and gratitude for the moving service I received and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs moving services. The movers sent were punctual, organized and very focused. I was happily surprised at the pace they worked to get us moved. Excellent service provided!

I used Nationwide Relocation Services on September 25, 2010 to move from Sacramento to Santa Ana. I finally settled into my new place and wanted to take the time to praise my moving coordinator, Amy Figgs, who helped me throughout the entire process. She endured all of the changes I had to make scheduling my move, but never once did she get upset or increased my price and for that I thank her. Just as she said, the movers that helped me move were truly a couple of stand up guys. Jason and Michael were very outgoing and they worked quickly. If ever I am moving again or know of any one who is, I will surely give them Nationwide's number. It was a pleasure working with a knowledgeable moving company.

I was really worried about getting all of my stuff from my house in Sunrise, FL to my new place in Kansas City, MO without breaking anything. My friend just moved into his new place and he used Nationwide Relocation Services to handle the move so I figured since they did a great job with his move then they were the best bet. I spoke to Carol on the phone and she was able to give me a great quote. When the movers arrived, they were a lot more courteous than I expected and seemed to know what they were doing. They carefully wrapped everything down to the smallest item. They were friendly throughout the whole process, which made them seem like one of the family. When everything was moved, they stuck around for a few minutes to clean the packing material out. This was nothing like what I had expected and I am glad that I chose Nationwide to help me move my things.

This past month I moved from my home in Miami Gardens to Los Angeles using Nationwide Relocation Services. I am usually opposed to using professional movers because of more than one bad experience moving but I was a little press for time so when my friends suggested I call them I decided that it was my best option. The guys that where in charge of moving my stuff where courteous and very informative, they explained the entire process in detail. They made sure that all my things were securely packed and transported. I was in and out of the house because I had other matters to attend to but they delivered everything without a single scratch. I am still weary of moving companies but Nationwide is a refreshing change of pace from the companies I usually deal with. Thanks to them making this process a lot less difficult and for doing such a good job moving everything. I highly recommend them!

AKA United States Van Lines (I wrote a review of that company). They have like 3892373982908 different company names, because they're crooks and they want to make it difficult to track them down.

Beware! Beware! Beware! I used this company to move me from Miami to San Antonio in 2008. It was the worst experience in my entire life. They stole my property (2 flat screen Samsung television valued @ $7,000 total)and I never recovered them. Let me explain their operation to you. They are a booking or brokage agency for moving folks only. Afterward, they pass your order off to another company that moves you. But they never tell you this. The other companies they use are as shady as they are. They work in concert with each other. The other company show up the day of your move and have you working along with them to move you. After you have paid them. You work as hard as they do, but you are paying them. After your stuff is in their possession they steal what they like and take months to deliver your property. They take 4 months to deliver my property and alot of stuff was missing when they did deliver. I slept on the floor in a new apartment for months. The day of delivery the two ... Read more

Nationwide bids your move and then sells it to a moving company. The mover showed up 4 days later than scheduled. Great start. They showed up at night and packed my stuff into the night. Definitely inventory all items in detail. Also take pictures. My stuff was delivered in a different truck and the mover, Space Movers, stole $4,000 of tools, PS3, Space heater, and Harley Davidson storage box. Many of my items were significantly damaged. My 1 month old craftsman 6 foot tool box was crushed and unusable. A road bike was so scratched that it is unsafe to use. It was 8 lbs and the insurance only covers $.60 per lb. So I will receive $5 to fix my bike that will cost me over $800 for a new frame. I took pictures as items came off the truck, of all the damage. Driver agreed that items were damaged. Now as I submitted a theft and damage report, he is denying that any damage occurred. They hide behind their insurance and do not care about your stuff Do not trust this company...... Read more

We used them to move from White Plains NY to Chicago IL, October 2009. Between myself and my kid's things, it was insane trying to pack. So we used Nationwide, Peter was my contact. I didnt realize they were not the movers at first but they delivered what they said. The moving company showed up a day earlier than I requested but everything worked out in the end. We moved with no major issues. I would recommend them.

I moved from West Palm Beach to Jacksonville last month. I originally hired another company out of Miami to do the move. When they failed to show up I called the office who told me they had me scheduled to move another day since they needed the truck for another job, but they could fit me in next week. I was so stressed and forced to call another company. I was a little worried when I read some of the reviews but I was back into a corner. I spoke to a guy named Shane who went out of his way to get me moved the next day. To my surprise, everything went really well. No complaints, no holding my furniture hostage, nothing broken, no drama. I have NO intentions of moving again, but if I do, I know who to call.

Total scam.....look up this guy's name and you will see what I am talking about. SAVE YOUR SELF ALOT OF TROUBLE!!!!!!! They will give you an estimate then the price changes......seriously, after seeing what the owner is all about, there is no need to go any further!

I would never recommend Nationwide Relocation or United States Van Lines. Our estimates were way below what they charged us. The second estimate was done AFTER our deposit was non-refundable which showed us that they could not be trusted. After the final weight we requested the truck to be weighed again before and after delivery (in VT) so that we could view the weigh tickets ourselves (they would not give us a copy of the original weigh tickets). We had to pay the final amount in cash at delivery and our weigh was 1,000 lbs less than they were charging us. We have yet to receive our refund. Our sales rep (Joshua Feyers) refuses to take our calls and customer service keeps giving us the run around. Do not trust this company for an accurate estimate or to give you an accurate weight on your move.

I just want to say Thank you to liza my sales rep. at nationwide relocation for helping us with our move. We moved from New York to Fort Lauderdale last month and they did a good job by me and my family. With three children and a husband is ain't easy when moving, but nationwide did good. My pick up and deliver was on time like clock work. I thought they would be late thinking about the weather and just after the holidays, but they surprised me. Marvelous thanks in a million.

Moving Order: 4652858-01 – Pick-up December 29th, 2009 – Delivery January 3rd, 2010. After learning that Nationwide was not an actual van line (like Allied or United), I had serious reservations about the move. I have been a party to many long and short distance moves and this was the first time I had worked through a facilitator to coordinate the move. Frankly, I did not believe they would represent my interests with the contracted van company as well as I could. I can’t speak about all facilitators, but Nationwide has made me a believer. Except during his vacation, my estimator, Sean Boxer, made sure I was kept current on the move’s status. The contracted van line, A-Tops, arrived to make the pick-up as scheduled. Due to logistics surrounding my new home and the start of my new job here in Knoxville, the only day that would not have required me to take off work was Sunday the 3rd. Even though Sean and the rest of the staff at Nationwide tried to assure me that everything woul... Read more

I made the mistake of using Nationwide Movers and it has been a two week nightmare that will maybe end tomorrow. Make sure their price is in writing and do not take anyone's word for it. This was my fatal error, trusting. Their customer service is the best at avoiding calls and that ETA on my furniture was like their pick up. I received a two hour notice a full day ahead of schedule. For your peace of mind and your pocket book, look elsewhere for a mover. Well, I received my furniture and my worst fears were realized. Shattered furniture, broken coffee tables, cracked kitchen tables, cracked head boards to list a few. Almost everything was scraped and gauged and I had a 250 pound TV solid wood stand that was cracked in the center. ABLE MOVING, based out of Chicago Illinois, worked in concert with Nationwide in destroying my furniture and now they are willing to give me 60 cents PER POUND, which addds up to nothing. Please do not use these people.

I was placed in a situation that made me move from kennesaw to fort lauderdale. I received a call from Darren Tarr at Nationwide Relocation Services. He was pretty professional and i was not expecting this from a moving comapany. I was skeptical but i accepted the offer and moved my stuff with them. Mr Tarr took great care of me from the beginning and i trusted him from the get go. He explained how the move would go, he really held my hand the etire move. My movers showed up. They were very professional and i shocked myself by offering them some refreshments. My furniture arrive unharmed and my movers even helped me set everything up, I would recommend nationwide to anyone. Darren Tarr is an assett to the company. Thanks again!

I would not give this company any stars at all....My driver was drunk, my rep was never around to return my calls and my move was a complete nightmare! I should have known when the rep was bad mouthing every other company I got a quote from that I was in for some trouble. We finally got to Texas and I had damage to my goods because someone moved them! Ihave boxes labeled, and things packed a certain way. boxes were moved, one of them looked like someone stomped on it trying to get to other things. I am so disappointed in my decision and to make matters worse, I did some research on this company. the owner has been in jail, has many company's being run all under different names! Yeah Aldo Disorbo is a scum and this company should be put out of business. I wish I would have read all these complaints before my move!

My move with Nationwide Relocation services was less than satisfactory. The moving specialist assigned to our move grossly under estimated the weight in our house which lead to us having to pay 3 times the amount initially promised. When the contractor hired to do our move arrived, they took longer than promised, did not carefully pack any breakables, and blatantly lied about not being able to communicate with us. Our moving specialist was rude on the phone when we tried to resolve all of our matters, and nothing has been settled except that the movers got more money than they should have. Julian Jamarillo, our moving specialist, needs to be investigated for his telephone behavior. He laughed in my ear, spoke to me disrespectfully, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me he was "his own boss who" makes "his own hours". I do not appreciate this treatement from my 5 year old, nor any person who refers to themselves as a professional.

They promised the move will be easy and they will take the stress out of me. Actually, they PUT the stress on me!!!! NEVER trust everything they said because it's a big lie and all they want is your money!! Be aware that if they say the bad reviews are just 1% of their customers. I don't believe it right now. I think there's only 1 % that is satisfying. I just have our first baby in July and was going to move from OR to TX in August. The reason why I choose this company is that I couldn't find (or didn't do my research) other long distance movers that will move things for us cause we cann't move heavy things. The original estimate is $2262 for 3000 lbs. Joe Petitt kept promising me that it won't be move this estimate, which is a lie. The driver picked up our things on the two day pick up window, which is ok. But the nightmare began here. They said our things is 4120 lbs. and there'll be an extra charge ($500 more). But actually, before they picked up our things, they just put on gas ... Read more

I entered into a contract with Nationwide Relocation Services on June 16, 2009 for our move from New Jersey to Florida. A deposit for this service in the amount of $959.66 was charged to my credit card. There was a two day pickup window 6/29/2009-6/30/2009 and a delivery window of seven days 7/2/2009-7/8/2009. Upon speaking with the representative from Nationwide I explained that July 10th was my wedding day in New Jersey and was assured that we would have no trouble receiving our belongings in the time frame stated in our contract. We made our travel plans accordingly and were planning to drive to Florida and fly to New Jersey on July 9th. We were told that we would receive a phone call twenty-four hours prior to our pick up date. July 29th came and finally, after numerous calls to Nationwide inquiring when the movers were coming, we received a response around 9:30 p.m. We were informed that the original company was no longer available and that another company would now be coming be... since my origiginal review I would like to say that my parents furniture has been delivered, all, intact and the company was All Coast Transportation. The two young men who delivered the items, Robert and Lonnie, were terrific, and anyone who has the good fortune to have them as the delivery agents will find them professional, courteous and hard working. What the home office was lacking in was more than made up for in All Coast's employees. Since these companies are basically service companies I hope they are aware of what assets these two young men are.

I feel like I'm having a nightmare. My parents contracted with this company and so far all we've heard are excuses and lies from the movers. They say they will be here 1 day and then don't show up. This has happened for the past 3 days. Then they say the truck has broken down, but they can't tell me where it is? I have since read others having the same complaints. I think this is a scam company. I pray that we get our stuff soon. I will be reporting this company.

I had contracted with Nationwide Relocation Services in January 2008 to move my items from storage in MI to Chicago. Little did I know that they are a company who contracts with local moving companies and they do NOT do their research to find out if the company is reputable or licensed. They contracted with Best Price Moving and Storage in Chicago, IL (who is NOT licensed as the State of IL denied them a license due to shady business practices). In the end, I lost over $800 worth of belongings that the movers, who none of them spoke English so I couldn't communicate with them, lost and stole including my Great Aunt's real silver silverware (I didn't have a chance to get this myself to transport as I had to move suddenly) and my only box of memorabilia from my dad who passed away. The moving company tried to say the weight of my items was 834 pounds more than it was and so I had to go with them to weigh the truck before and after the items were delivered and they owed me $150 back... A company can only be as good as the subcontractors and my experience with their subcontractor was undesirable. Brandon, Thank you for working with us in our recent move to Houston, Texas. Even though we moved from a relatively small house in Lafayette, LA, Nationwide Relocation was the most thorough and provided a spread sheet for us to complete concerning details of items allocated for the move. Although your company was the most expensive, I based my decision in awarding you the move because of your accuracy of moving weight and personal concerns. In working with the actual moving group, they were considerate of our needs and did a superb job in packaging our priceless heirlooms to eliminate damages. As an overall review in working with Nationwide, we are very pleased with the outcome of our relocation. Every step of the way you were so informative, assuring and most importantly attentive. Every time I called or emailed you with a question (and there were many) you were either immediately available or got back to me within minutes, and what’s more you never made me feel like I was being a nuisance to you. The level of customer service you provided was unlike any I have ever received. Thank you so much for all your help and the delightful experience. Rest assured, the next time I hear of someone- friend or stranger-preparing for a move, I will without question, recommend We-Haul Moving Company for the job. Dear Rich, I wanted to take a couple of minutes to write you a letter to commend one of your employees. His name is Tony Sparkman. I had the pleasure of working with this gentleman during the week of June 26, 2008. This was my first time arranging corporate transfers of automobiles. I needed to make arrangements to transport four automobiles, two to Chester, VA, and two others to South Jordan, Utah. Mr. Sparkman took the time to explain to me what the regulations were, what my options were, and answered the many questions that arose, in the couple of days it took for us to confirm the contract and make the arrangements. He was very patient, returned all phone calls or answered emails in a quick and efficient manner. He was helpful to our accounting department and the arrangements were made quickly and to everyone’s satisfaction. Not often enough, do people who perform excellent customer service receive credit. NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company. I entered into a contract with them MONTHS before my move from Washington DC to Denver. I was basically told that they would try to find me a mover but that they were closed on Sunday and wouldn't be able to do anything until monday. (my lease ended on Monday at 5:00). and then if they didnt find anyone by Monday then I could cancel my contract with them. HELLO I NEEDED TO BE OUT BEFORE MONDAY AT 5! I had to rate this one star the minimum, but I would rate them negative stars if I could. Do not use this company - it is terrible. Our claim for damaged furniture was denied because they say we signed the receipt that furniture was received without damage. They broke it BEFORE they moved - so we didn't move the piece. This fact was noted, but they ignored that FACT!!!! It was a kitchen hutch (2 picece) they dropped it and broke it in half. They threw furniture, they dropped a ton of rust in our driveway from their truck which also died in the driveway and they had one of our neighbors jump it without my knowledge until after the fact. Of course it was a neighbor we didn't have anything to do with. They did not reassemble furniture per the agreement. This is only part of the troubles we had, but nobody wants to read a book!! We contracted to move from Galveston Tx to NY, NY. When Julian called, he would say it's very low season and there is huge discount. After asking for furniture list, he gave me a quote. I was out of town and didn't know exactly how many stuff we have. Julian said: you can always change. What he didn't tell you is that you can always change with added cost. After paying the deposit (of course they said you can always cancel and get the deposit back) , I read the terrible review right after paying the deposit and wanted to cancel right away. So I called Julian back, he started giving you the Better Business Bureau website and said their rating is AAA..(Never trust that, please ...trust the review from the customers) and promised me he will make our move exceptional. My husband read the review and wanted me to pull back . I had fought with him and told him that he has to trust people. Well, I should have listened to my husband. Due to recent hurricane, our island got hit badly. So our... Read more

These people are bad news. Sales reps seem very competent and say all the right things; but actual service departs significantly from their promises. Should you decide to use them (Don't), make sure to get EVERYTHING spelled out clearly in writing that you were promised. Horrible experience overall - delays, lost ~20% of our boxes, tons of damaged goods and no payment on our claim.

Avoid Nationwide like the plague! They are not even a real moving company - they contract out to others and have no control over what happens. They completely messed up my move and cost me $100s in having to pay for extending my lease when they didnt pick up in time. D0 N0T TRUST THEM WITH Y0UR BEL0NGINGS-D0 N0T GIVE THEM Y0UR M0NEY 0R Y0U WILL BE S0RRY LIKE I AM!!!!!!!

Guess I should feel lucky since my guys weren't drunk. :) The service from the company is much better on sale of the product than the service and the performance. This company operates under many different aliases so be careful. The same guy owns them all. Overall, I got my stuff - however the timelines were not what was agreed to in any form. In fairness I compressed my timelines, but still i would have preferred an honest answer. This company uses a combination of internal and external companies to move you things so it amazes me it gets there period. In my case it was fully outsourced move. The firm originally hired could not make the due date on the contract and yet tried to get me to adjust my date. Never the less they ultimately pulled out of the move. Nationwide was not good about keeping me informed about this. This new movers finally showed up on Saturday when the original movers were supposed to be there Wednesday or Thursday. Things continued at this pace, but they overall mo... Read more

Long story short, they showed up drunk at the pickup, then showed up a week late on the delivery - and I had to call the cops on the delivery men because they gave $40 to a random shady guy walking down the street to help them move our stuff in (who was casing our apt) and wouldn't tell him to leave until we called the cops on them. While waiting for our stuff to come, they would tell me, in a span of 30 minutes, that the truck was in Alabama, then in NY, then the stuff was still in their warehouse, then the driver got arrested for not paying child support, then they were stuck in traffic in MD. Customer service reps yelled at me, called me names, and were generally rude. They also lost some of our things. Our compensation from them after reporting them to the BBB and filing a claim for our missing items? $9.

I ditto everything stated below. BEWARE - DO NOT USE! I wished I would have looked this up in the beginning. Lesson learned but what a nightmare of a lesson. They hired an unprofessional moving company. When they arrived I knew I should have turned them away. My estimate was low balled to the point of me paying 3 times as much as the estimate. They did not include the insurance like I asked but was told was included. They are tyring to charge me for boxes not used and I am the one who has to prove the mover did not use dishpack or waredrobe boxes (the mover thinks that if they packed dishes and clothes they used these types of boxes - which happen to be 3x as much as the boxes they did use). The list goes on and to top it off customer service is non-existent. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Beware, they also go by the name United States Van Lines. Ditto as to the other posters here. Lowball bidders just to get you and then forget you.

This is ABSOLUTELY the worst move I have ever had!!! I have moved several times, so I came into this with very reasonable expectations, and yet everything has still fallen way short. It probably has less to do with Nationwide since they are only the middleman. However, they should be responsible for the companies they use. The pickup was horrible- I only have 2 rooms worth of stuff (MOST of which was packed) yet they were there till 12:30 a.m. and in the end, a third grader could have made a more complete inventory list! There was no thought put into the packing. For example, I had to stop a crew member from putting a box of wine glasses directly on the truck. What the hell was he thinking?! It was a small box with pictures of wine glasses all over it! I didn't expect the glasses to be taken out and wrapped, but at least you could put that small box in a larger box. Come on! But no, when I objected, the crew chief just laughed, got defensive, and insisted that I tell him how... Read more
