Decent song, but I liked one called "Sometimes Salvation" a lot better. I used to tell someone that I knew who liked this band a lot that The Stones, Allman Brothers, Humble Pie and Rod Stewart were still waiting for their royalty checks just to piss him off. They were ok I suppose, had their moments and their share of dull ones, but hardly the most original ensemble, and owed a rather too obvious debt to the acts above.3

Though not as good as "Thorn In My Pride" off of the same album (at least in my opinion), "Remedy" runs a close second of the tracks from that release. The underlying groove is old school yet fresh and the gospel background singers add the perfect touch of flair. "Remedy" hit #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart (but only #48 Top 40).2
