I've always liked the Dodgers but I'm conflicted due to Tommy Lasorda's pitch for SlimFast.

They'll be better this year now that Torre's in at manager. They'll probably wind up making some big moves too (A-Rod? Cabrera?)

Great organization but I have to admit that I had a hard time making the move to LA. The Dodgers were never the same. I love the stadium in LA, but I think it needs refurbishing. Also I can't stomach the fans leaving so early.

I'm not a huge fan of the Dodgers but I don't hate 'em, either. They were solid last year, and they look to be just as good this year. I for one was surprised when they won last year. They lost a couple of big bats but have replaced them. Their pitching needs work but isn't horrible. I see them winning maybe 80, 90 games.

Need to improve their offense next year, and defense is often porous, though their pitching is generally at least decent in part due to park effects, it's certainly a pro-pitcher's field. Had some truly great clubs in both Brooklyn and L.A. with many legendary or near legendary players over the decades: Vance, Wheat, J. Robinson, Campanella, Reese, Snider, Koufax, Drysdale, Sutton, Garvey, Valenzuela, Piazza, and many others.

This team lost huge bats in Adrian Beltre, Steve Finley and Shawn Green. But they've made up for it with Jeff Kent and J.D. Drew and a revamped pitching staff. They should be good like last year.

I have little opinion on the LA Dodgers but I sorely miss the Brooklyn version. I look at the NFL and how (finally) they managed to preserve a classic name by allowing the city of Cleveland to retain the name Browns if not the actual team when they departed for Baltimore - nameless. I wish that they had done it for the Baltimore Colts, but at least they have now set a precedent. If only baseball had done that back in 1957. There would still be hope for a renewed Brooklyn Dodgers. Alas for my youth and the teams that I remember fondly.

Incredible team--second best in the NL only to the Cardinals.

Currently my fav. baseball team after dumping the San Diego Padres (who WERE my fav. baseball team up until this year). The Dodgers had always been my 2nd fav. team and I wish they had always been my fav. Any team affiliated with San Diego are losers. There's something very amateur and stupid about San Diego and it's taken me, unfortunately, my whole life to realize it. Their teams are losers; they suck. The community is full of stupid, culture-less people. L.A. has a pretty good lineup once again, but once again they are underachieving -as they most the time do. They really should be putting up a lot better numbers offensively with the talent they have. Their pitching has been very solid this year, though.

I know this is the worst way to rate anything, but I just flat-out hate anything LA!

Dodgers gotta do something in 03. hopefully take the NL west and once in the playoffs do some damage.

Pitching rotation is great. But the hitting problem is big. No dodger player is doing clutch hitting. I think they just want to hit home runs.

Ever since the Fox group has taken over they have done very little that seemed to help the Dodgers.I hate to sound like i'm crying over spilled milk(Piazza)but when they continually make the same type of personell mistakes its hard to forget.Take the whole thing with Sheffield for instance, sure he probably shouldnt have mouthed off the way he did, but when you take into consideration that he came to a team where the fans were booing him because of who he wasnt(Piazza)and still batted over .310 while knocking home at least 36 to 40 homers, how dare the Fox organization for even thinking trade let alone letting it be known to the public. Then the guy says he wants to be a life time Dodger at a bargain rate and you still show no loyalty no commitment no intension on showing the team the fans and the players that we are commited to winning and willing to pay for excellance. Now there is one thing that i think they have done that was good and that was keeping the pitching staff in tact, but ...
