It's gotta hurt to know that your brother got the good looks in the family when your brother is Ron Howard.

I actually feel bad for the troll-looking Clint Howard. Being hit one too many times with the ugly stick must have been a traumatic experience for this physically repulsive human being. But don't feel too bad for him because his disgustingly demented features have netted him countless roles in many movies (remember him as the weasel-like cellmate of Sylvester Stallone in 'Tango & Cash'?). And because of this, his bank account is actually beautiful. Also, Howard is said to be good-natured. So, he can't be all that bad, can he?

As the prior comment notes, Clint Howard has not only had to struggle with being ugly but also as the less successful brother of Ron Howard. Nevertheless, his ugliness has apparently been turned into an asset for his career as a character actor (e.g. the Smog Strangler on "Seinfeld"). The only caveat I would add is that Clint hasn't always been butt ugly, as he was actually cute as the sandwich offering cowboy suit wearing little kid on "The Andy Griffith Show" (obviously pre "Gentle Ben"). Client Howard was born April 20, 1959 in Burbank, CA.

Unlike his big brother, this poor little guy never really saw any better days in the looks department. He was actually a pretty homely little kid even during his days on the old TV show, "Gentle Ben". But, you have to give him credit for hanging in there. Oh, yeah, it had to help that brother Ron became a major Hollywood sucess and included him in most of his films. Still, it can't be easy trying to compete with the constant flow of show biz sparklies - even if your aim is only to be a decent character actor. I will give him this though - his role as the runaway criminal on a Seinfeld episode was one of the most hilarious moments on that show.
