Twinky (1969)

I had never seen this before and I bought a copy at the video store during a sale. This is a really different Bronson vehicle! He plays a 38 year old porno book writer living in London who has an affair with a 16 year old school girl, played by the curvy Susan George. The word gets out and the English legal machinery cranks up to prosecute Bronson for statutory rape. George has a bright idea to get married, and if the couple goes to Scotland, they can marry without her parent's consent because of lax Scottish law in this respect. This they do and the story hits all the Brit tabloids, talk shows and such. Bronson then gets deported.The couple move to Bronson's home town of New York and problems start to surface. Bronson has to send George to school because she is not 18 even though she is married. This is only one of the problems. If you like kind of a kinky story line and want to see Bronson in other than a tough guy mode, check this out.
