08/15/2004 | The thing I had in mind wasn't on the list, but this is probably the most appropriate category - disease, exposure to the elements, starvation. Those have killed more people in wars than weapons have. Wars tend to be fought far from cities, where food is hard to get and makeshift shelter barely makes do. And with thousands of people in one relatively small area, disease spreads like wildfire.
We know that biological warfare is very real and very dangerous, even more so than nukes. Why? Not only are they cheap, easy to weaponize, and don't take rocket scientists (literally) to produce, they can be stored virtually anywhere, undetectable. And on top of that, rogue groups may have control of these deadly diseases and could strike without anyone ever knowing it.

08/14/2004 | Without humans, what would fire the weapons, or reload the artilery, fly the aircraft and drop its ordinance. Currently, without trained humans, any country's military would be useless.
