Biggest mistake I have ever made. If you buy from this company, you will regret it.... there is no other way it will turn out The only thing worse than the product is the service. The service lady Cindy is a class 100% bitch who's only job is limit the warranty work done on the spa and drag it out long enough to expire the warrenty. I have had a $10,000 spa for a year now and it has work for about 2 months. WORST COMPANY EVER

We bought a Dynasty hot tub from Dynasty Spa's in Red Deer, Alberta. Was told by the salesperson ( Rochelle ) that the running / power costs would be about $20 a month......NOT TRUE....... our power / electricity has increased from $40 to $70......pending on the month.........we disconnected the hot tub over the summer....and our power rates went down drastically........our power bill has NEVER....EVER went up by $20 with the hot tub.......more than double that amount.......or more......very unsatisfied with the misleading info..........

We have owned our Dynasty spa for 2 years now. We have just had our second motor/pump go out and I am currently waiting for the repairman to come so that we can move on to the third pump. The first one just quit working - the second one is making banging and knocking noises that are so loud you can hear it from inside of the house. Just like others have posted on here, we have jets that continually pop out. We have broken plastic pieces from the poorly manufactured and designed jets lying in the bottom of the tub nearly every time we get in. The topside display quit working so that had to be replaced. One of the corner pieces of the poor quality cabinet broke when hit by a wiffel ball (I can't imagine if it was hit by an actual baseball). I am very disapointed that we spent so much money on a huge headache that has problem after problem for the entire 2 years we have owned it and the store in Reno that we bought it from has been absolutely NO help - they took the attitude of "yo... THE CALGARY & RED DEER DYNASTY SPAS GROUP ARE A BUNCH OF IGNORANT JUNK PEDDLERS!! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT; YOU WILL REGRET IT!! We spent more than $12,000 on a brand new piece of equipment that has needed repairs twice in the first 6 months! Our In store experience and purchase of our brand new (and very expensive) spa started out fairly well... We had it delivered and in stalled in October of 2010; after LESS THAN 3 MONTHS the led lights stopped working completely! Even though we purchased our tub in Calgary we had to call Red Deer to make arrangements for the repair?? In a city as large as Calgary they have no local repair tech? Red Flag #1. After being greeted in the rudest manner possible I was told that the repair person would contact me in about 24hrs time to discuss/ book an appt. After a WEEK I still had not heard anything! So I called back and was greeted with even more hostility than the first time and was basically told that the repair person would call me at his convenie... Read more

We are happy customers of dynasty! We have had our tub (Trident) for several years now. Our daughter just purchased a tub from dynasty as well and brought to our attention that if we have never had an issue or a concern - why not write a quick review with her. So there you have it two generations of happy spa customers.

Ok, so...............I felt the need to post a quick review concerning Dynasty Spas in Calgary. I saw all of these horrible reviews after purchasing my spa; and like anyone I felt pretty awful. To my surprise everything with my tub, the delivery and set up has been great. I had the nicest guy and his brother set up my tub and it works great. I also feel that I got a great deal in the end. Ater looking around I paid apprx $6500 with everything. Tub is great life is good, and I am happy overall :)

Junk I bought my Dynasty in 2005 . 1st year no real problems.2nd year a new pump.3rd year new motor, wood starts to come apart.4th year 2nd cover that also was recommended by dynasty and sevaeral new jets and knobs.5th year new heater and breaker because the heater shorted the ground fault out.6th year as of now 2011 Feb 23 heater fried out the breaker and itself again, needs a 3rd new cover, the wood is warped and falling apart every where, and it may need a 3rd pump replacement at 600$ a pop with labor. The store I bought from has actually been very helpful and good customer service. I was talking to the owner about all the issues with this brand and he said they had to quit selling them in 2009 because they were such junk .I will tell anyone to never by anything by dynasty spas oranything they recommend for use with their spas.Total junk

Purchased new in February of 2010 from Litehouse pools and spas. The only problem we have had so far is that the cabinet is poorly built. From lack of glue and screws it has become detached form almost every point around the spa. This started around June 2010. When we called Litehouse about the problem they took three weeks to get back to us. They explained that the warranty on the cabinet ended when the hot tub was delivered. They did send use a bag of screws to fix it ourselves. Really ? $6000 for a hot tub and a bag of screws. For that money just put some extra glue and screws on during the manufacturing process.

My fiancee and I bought a hot tub from Dynasty Spas about 2 months ago. We read all these terrible reviews and listened to every other hot tub dealer bad mouth them as well. Yes, we were a bit worried, but the price was right and the salesman, Dave was very friendly and seemed pretty trustworthy so we took a chance with them. We were never pressured to buy, we went back 3 times after visiting every other store and finally bought with them. So far, our experience with Dynasty has been great...no complaints at all. The tub was delivered exactly 2 weeks after we bought it (2 weeks earlier than we were told) so that was the first good sign. The delivery guys were awesome, very friendly, qucik and efficient. They actually ripped a little piece of the cover during installation because of a piece missing. We called the store to see what we should do about it. They ordered us a new one...no questions asked. We have also called into the store with questions and Brent (the owner) was friendly an... Read more

There is a reason Dynasty Spas in Red Deer have a poor reputation.... Just today....we went to a competitor hot tub dealer in RD to buy chemicals...my husband didn't say the name of where he bought his hot tub, but in casual conversation with the "other" hot tub salesperson, mentioned how ill informed he was with his hot tub purchase and how he was poorly treated by the hot tub company after the hot tub had been delivered. He stated he wished he had never bought his tub from where he bought it from. AND guess what....the competitor salesman said..."Let me guess...did you buy your tub from Dynasty Spas?" Need I say more...

Six months ago I bought a dynasty spa from the calgary store--I wish I would have known then what I know now. This has been the most frusturating purchase of my entire life, and after reading all the other reviews I guess I have alot of company in that opinion. My wife has arthritis and other health problems and we felt that a hot tub would be beneficial in relieving her constant pain. We heard a radio ad stating that dynasty calgary had 50% off spas one saturday, and we thought we would go check it out. Needless to say- nothing was under 10, 000 but we got caught up in the hype of a "deal" The owner was our sales person, and told us he would rig a draw so that we could win a 5000 massage chair to sweeten the deal. We were pressured into putting a deposit to hold the deal, as he only had one left at that price. Some deal it was over 13, 000 for a 7x7 hot tub called the trident. We asked point blank if the jets were strong, as we were buying it for therapy--and he (Brent) loo... Read more

Dynasty Calgary is the WORST company to deal with. My husband and I went shopping for a hot tub on center street a couple of weeks ago. Dynasty was our first stop, we wanted to look around at ALL the dealers BEFORE we made our choice. The pressure to buy NOW (from the owner Brent) was unbelievable. He was cocky, and tried to make us feel stupid that we wanted to look around. He tried every trick in the book to get our money (he was going to "throw" in a massage chair- "throw in" all the options ect) We stood firm that we wanted to still look around. He asked for our phone number, which was a huge mistake because we gave it to him. He called every day for 2 weeks, until we finally said we were buying somewhere else. What happened next was UNBELIEVABLE- he started to swear at my husband, calling him a F***ING loser, and every other name in the book. HOW DOES THIS COMPANY STAY IN BUSINESS?

My family and I bought a dynasty a couple of months ago from the Edmonton Polor Spas Store. We really liked the guys that work there, Chris Shaw was fantastic! We got a caspian model, with all the extras for around 9K-- which we figured was a good deal. We live close to Red Deer, so dynasty Red Deer was the first place we check out. Beautifull store, and we were really impressed with the way the dynasty tubs looked. We didn't want a lounger, so we decided on the Caspian. The girl that worked there Michelle (?) was very high pressured and said that she had a special deal on one that she had at the warehouse. The price she quoted was 14K (which seemed really high) . As fate would have it, a customer came in to complain about his tub, and we were shock at how this Michelle had treated him. On his way out the customer said.. if you haven't signed on the dotted line, walk away. He also mentioned that Edmonton Polor sold dynasty(under their own name) After reading the reviews we f... Do not buy from DYNASTY SPAS. They do not care about you once they have your money. The Red Deer Store will hang up on you when you phone to get warranty work. I had an out of box failure with one of their massage chairs and was told that I would have to pay for the labour to have it fixed. WHAT A JOKE. The chair never worked but I am supposed to pay to get it fixed. The chair was not even the proper model and when I asked about it she lied about the model I was supposed to get. How are they still in business? My hot tub is waiting for parts that were broken during transport. When I told them it was leaking they said I needed to find out why as it is NOT covered under warranty to send someone out to give you a properly working tub. I feel as though they have stolen from me. They have my money and I have products that don't work.

We love our spa, our family shopped every single dealer in Calgary and decided to go with a Dynasty Spa because it had the features we were looking for! We bought the caspian and love the Stereo , the waterfalls and the cool led lighting and our kids enjoy the spa almost every day!! Most people dont realize that every manufacturer is basically an assembly plant and they all purchase their products from the same suppliers, jets, pumps, covers, spa controllers. Most of the blogs on this site are probably coming from dealers that feel it is more benificial to trash talk other products instead of selling their own. Weve had our spa for 6 months and had nothing but good things to say about Dynasty Spas and the service in Calgary.

It is a nice tub and I do like it, but the fact that the keypad for the stereo quit just after the 1 year warranty on it was up doesn't impress me. Just before the 1 year I had the service tech out which cost me $45 for a valve that broke on pump 2, and I had push a bunch of LED's back up into the valves cause the tech was going to charge me and these are warranty items! So no at 2 years I found that my stereo was cutting out so I took the panel off and found a leaking air hose that was dripping on my stereo wiring which was corroded and cutting out so I had to re connect them and heat shrink the wires for water proof and sealed up the hose. Put everything back together and within 2 days I lost 12 inches of water so took it apart and had water all over inside because the main hose from the heater to to pump 1 was sitting on the wood base and every time it turned off and on it would move 1 to 2 inches and has worn a hole in the 2" high pressure line. So I figure by the time I just go a... Read more

Beautiful tub, but made like a piece of crap. A day after it was delivered we noticed a speaker cover cracked, was promised a new one from the dealer, never received. Within a month, all the pillows broke off the grommets and would just float around the tub. A month after that, the top corner of the shell cracked. If you try to move around the tub while the radio is playing, you will lose reception. Another problem is with the Led lighting, it skips over some of the colors on the color changing mode and dims out. Oh I almost forgot, two of the top controls to adjust the jets have fallen off. With all of the problems I have read on here and have experienced first hand, I would NOT recommend this spa to anyone. Now our latest problem is with Pump 1, it no longer turns on. No Pump 1, no heat, no spa. This tub is less then 2 years old and falls apart like it's 10. Frustrated!!

We bought our Dynasty Neptune spa in 2005 and had a lot of problems with it since then. The first issue we had with it was 2 years after buying it, the heater went out on it and needed to be replaced. We contacted the dealer for repairs and they referred us to some run-of-the-mill repairman who came out 2 weeks after the heater failed (mind you it was the beginning of January with below zero temps). Before the repairman came out to fix it, he told us to buy some space heaters, disconnect the automatic shut-off switches and shove them in the corners inside the hot tub cabinet. He told us if it caught fire, it wouldn't be covered but it was the only way to stop the pipes from freezing and breaking (which wouldn't be covered under the warranty either). When he finally came out to look at it, he told us that he COULD replace the heater but he wasn't sure if the heater was the problem. He said if he replaced it and sent it to Dynasty and it wasn't broke, he wouldn't get reimbursed by ... Read more

I was a newby to the Spa ownership world in 2007 and fell for the sales pitch at a boat show on a supposed great deal I was getting (Neptune Series-Poseidon Model). Not sure about the great deal--- However, the spa was delivered as promised on the date scheduled, but the delivery person had no one to help him get it off the truck and in to our backyard. My husband was expected to round up neighbors to help at the last minute. Fortunately, we have great neighbors and they came to our rescue. We were handed a box of chemicals and given a very basic, brief course on maintenance. We have had a lot of problems with the jets popping out. The first two in the first year were covered under warranty. We simply mailed them to the Tennessee factory and they were quickly replaced. Since then, we have had more jets pop out. Whenever we need a service technician, we call repeatedly, but cannot get an appointment. The dealer supposedly covers about four states by himself and there is no on... Read more

I FIND DYNASTY SPAS TO VERY HELPFUL IN ALL ASPECTS WITH OUR DEALERSHIP. I HAVE READ ALL THE REVIEWS LISTED (12) AND IT SEEMS THAT THEY ARE MORE DEALER PROBLEMS THAN MANUFACTURE PROBLEMS. LET'S FACE IT, THINGS THAT ARE MAN MADE MAY GO BAD. BUT IT REALLY DEPENDS ON THE MAN YOU BOUGHT IT FROM TO MAKE IT RIGHT. OUR DEALERSHIP WOULD BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. WE KNOW THAT THE CUSTOMER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT AT THE COMPANY I WORK FOR. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO MAKE SURE YOU BUY FROM A LOCAL DEALER THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME. IT WONT TAKE LONG TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO BUY IF YOU USE THAT METHOD. I HAVE SEEN 4 DIFFENT DEALERS IN MY TOWN GO IN AND OUT IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. IT'S HARD FOR THE MANUFACTURE TO DEAL DIRECT WITH THE CUSTOMER IF THERE IS NO ONE IN TOWN TO DO THE WORK. ALSO DYNASTY IS AN AMERICAN MANUFACTURE 100%.

Purchased Dynasty AquaEx Platnium 18 ft swimming spa in Feb 2010. No installation documentation and the lack of documentation failed to indicate that spa requires a 400 AMP upgrade at a cost of $5600 and cost me additional $1500 Delivered with wrong color cover - 6 weeks later manufacturer/dealer are tap dancing point fingers at each other. Grave concern about having a spa with a cover that can't be locked on - wonder if East Coast Leisure/Dynasty would included in a law suit due to accidental drowning because neither will address the cover issue. Five leaks were discovered the day of delivery - Dynasty couldn't of pressurized the system or doesn't know the term hydrostactically testing. Jets come out in the hand if you attempt to turn - I have 5 so far in 30 days that require action. No control panel overlays, No SPA pillows, No manuals/documentation. Built in stereo which can't get a local radio station - manufacturer promised an upgrade but dealer hasn't responded. American E... Read more

We purchased our spa Neptune series from DynastySpas in Tennessee.Worst company we have ever dealt with.We live on Long ISLAND and getting an honest service company with spa knowledge base has been a joke .First month we had tub pump stopped working soon after pillow gromets broke .We had to replace all the jet covers that had rusted over from bromine they told us to use .We had a large pluming leak this Jan2010.It took two months to get that fixed. No company on Long Island wants to deal with Dynasty. We have reported them to Better Business in Tennessee and Consumer bureau in Nashville.Neither agency has done anything. So much in protecting the consumer. We have learned that Dynasty has a F rating they say that their rating is an A Read some of the emails on them they are worse than ours.We have been asking out in Tennessee who has licensed them and noone knows, not even the State Dept.Dynasty and its CEO Mike Deans should have been out of business a long time ago.And it doesnt matter i... My family absolutely loves our Dynasty Spa. We purchased the Dynasty Liberty, from Spas Unlimited in Houston Texas. The sales person was very knowledgable and helped us make the perfect decision for our home. The delivery and instal went off without hitch. The guys who installed our spa were great, they installed the spa hooked up all the electrical and answered all our questions in 2 short hours. It is truely a pleasure to do business with professionals. Thank you to the whole staff of Spas Unlimited of Houston and Dynasty Spas.

My wife originally purchased the 8000 dollar Neptune series garbage can about two and a half years ago, I'm an industrial maintenance technician, and that fact alone has probably saved us thousands in labor in itself, however I'm still about 600 dollars in parts into it. The plastic knbs and control valves are cheap and come apart easily. The electrical on the tub would easily be a nightmare for an average homeowner. The LED lighting system is not very moisture protected, so I have spent over 6 hours with a meter tracking the daisy-chain wiring all the way around the tub. The pressboard on the tub frame skirts has naturally gotten wet and is coming apart as well. The filter replacements are over 50 bucks each, the pressure switch for the filtering system has gone bad, the waterfall control valve, the clamshell control valve, several jets have flown apart, and I've spent countless hours fixing the plumbing on the thing, it's all cheap PEX pipe (the factory pipe on mobile homes) glue in ... We just received our spa (Spirit II) a week ago and I already feel it is the worst decision we ever made. Upon delivery, they were rude, yelled at my husband because the electric was already installed (per their request) the spa was not the color we chose or the style we selected. Apparently they changed the model design just after we ordered (3 week time frame). The electrician could not get the electric hooked to the tub so the delivery guys had to break the insulation to properly bend the pipes for the wires. Oh but the way that was the extent of the set up. They never discussed filling, chemicals (just handed us a bucket and said it had everything we needed. When we called the company we bought it from they told us we were idiots and had no common sense and what did we expect for the great price we paid. Honestly, we only saved a about a grand with the sale price (I could have gotten that anywhere), not to mention that the salesman lied to use about the color, the number o... Read more

I wish I didn't get mine! It is an Oceana. The sales lady told me that I could use Non Chlorine chemicals in my spa. My husband breaks out from Chlorine. And of course the spa store closed down 3 months after we got our spa! There are clear honeycomb like lenses over the jets because we have lights. After a year, very close though to the 1 year coverage for jets, a couple of the lenses broke apart and we were stepping on the pieces. I wrote the company, but no response. I thought "Oh well, I'll replace it later." Well, then I wrote the company to tell them of a leak that I have had for about 8 months. I really needed to look over my warranty because I thought that time was up also. It turned out to be a plastic lens in the bottom that was leaking. I also told them of all the lenses falling out in pieces. He told me that my water wasn't balanced. Really? Sorry, Yeah it was! We had no problem with the Leisure Time Free chemicals at all.
