One of the things that once you see it or touch it; it gives you great and deeply hidden memories.

Yes, you must keep this!

The only reason that I'm keeping it is that my late mom crocheted it for my son.
abilal 01/24/2011
Definitely like it
wbwill 06/13/2010
Oh man, you could spend thousands in shrink fees trying to pry it loose at 13 years old, just kidding sort of,
Jester002 01/02/2010
No problem seeing that as a reminder of childhood.

Every kid has some kind of baby/security blanket. Most parents know the proper age the kid should be to wain them off that, or they just grow out of it on their own.

Kinda gross. Any idea how many different bodily byproducts(sp?) baby blankets get on them? Baby barf, pee, poop, snot, tears, sweat, etc. Yeah, you can wash it, but sometimes no amount of washing will reduce the nastiness.

I still have mine and I'm about to be 31yrs. old.

When I was six months old our house got robbed. They took the TV and big-70's Air Conditioner and. . .my crib and blanket. Crib and blanket. Poppa CS shook his head and mused: "I get the TV. . .I get the air conditioner. . .how much dope money they gonna get for my kid's crib?" (Baby CS cries loudly - CS still hasn't gotten over it.)

This would seem like a good baby souvenir, as it would be easy to just fold up and store somewhere without taking up too much space.

Where can I get baby blankets like these: http://www.babyblankets.com ?
Rating2Help 08/03/2007
Still have the baby blanket my daughter, then my son used. They are now 24 and 22. So now I have a new grandson, but he has his own blankets. My grandmother made the blanket so it has special meaning. Hardly anyone keeps anything anymore, so I am ok with hanging onto the blanket! It brings back happy memories of my babies. :)

My mom still has the brown blanket I had as a kid. It's homemade, too.
Vudija 03/14/2006
I would rate it a 5, had I not lost it somewhere down the line. I had it up until 4th grade, and when I moved here, I didn't bring it with me. Florida was only supposed to be a summer vacation trip, so I left all of my important things back in texas. When we went back the next summer to get them, my ex step-father had pawned or threw away everything. Texas claimed we could do nothing about it because they were still technically married when he did it *blah*
BlueOrchid 03/14/2006
I insisted on keeping mine. Now it's a sad little blanket that's been patched up so much that there's holes in it.
