In California it is illegal to have caller ID

Since nine out of ten people in California and everywhere else probably has caller ID of some form, it is a bit on the radical side.

This is somebody's fantasy.  It isn't true....

Umm . . . I haven't seen a cell phone that DOESN'T have caller ID.  If this is true, then how do they deal with that?

Remind me not to move to California then! I treasure my caller ID. It's great for when you owe money and the collection agencies aren't smart enough to block the calls.
