I guess I never thought about that. I am glad someone is spreading the knowledge.

That is an interesting fact.

I stopped sending them cards when the number hit 5 million...

I don't know about 9 million people, but it's just common sense to know that we share our birthday with many. We shouldn't need the cap on a Snapple bottle to tell us something that we should already know.
MissPackRat4Je sus 07/06/2009
I can't imagine how the song "Happy Birthday" would sound trying to name off all those people......
GenghisTheHun 07/06/2009
That would be a rocking party!

9 million others may have the same birthday but I dont share it with them! That is MY day! humph
drbowler 03/07/2006
I agree with stark, people who died on my birthday were far more important than the people who share my birth day.

This statement might have been true in the 1960's but it fails to take into account the fact that there are 6.5 billion people in the world today, and that, divided by the total number of days in the year ( 365 ), says the average person actually shares a birthday with 17.8 million people.

So what? Most of them are as faceless and mundane as I am. Looking at it historically, 2 of them are kinda out there in totally different ways- John Cougar or whatever he calls himself and Niels Bohr. Oh yeah, and Elijah Muhammad. The people who DIED on it are far more impressive to me- Edgar Allan Poe and Christy Matthewson.
SZinHonshu 03/06/2006
And 4.4 million of these people are Chinese or Indian.
Vudija 03/06/2006
And I've never met a single one...
