While I never had to use a Rolodex (as they were already obsolete by the time I started in the business world), I'm hard-pressed to see how anyone could miss them (even after reading the prior comments). Like a lot of older systems, computers and electronic filing quickly made these things yesterday's news. I can see how there may be some advantages of portability with a hard paper Rolodex, but with the ease of copying files, I don't see this tail wagging the obsolete dog.1

Never had one of those full size covered rotary Rolodex, but have a smaller version in which I keep business cards. Will never give this up. I can take it with me if I ever have to change jobs.4

Holding on to the dog-eared old one from not having found time to copy the info in it.5
