Thank you for the clarification, Irishgit. That makes complete sense from a historical perspective and if I were a little brighter I'd have put 2 + 2 together immediately and not have been scratching my head about that one (it had crossed my mind that it might be some reference to his mistress).

02/28/2006 | Based on his success in the 1800 election, won because of the "three-fifths compromise". This held that three of every five slaves would count as population for the purposes of apportioning seats in the House of Representatives, which was a huge boon to the slave states.
