About two decades ago, this was a trendy breakfast, at least in my town. It's a mixed bag, with some pretty tasty stuff, and a few things (like chicken feet) that I suspect are thrown in to confuse the Kwai lo.

Decent food. Haven't had authentic Chinese food since I left Guam.

I've never done dim sum. I'd probably like it though.

I don't put this as my favorite breakfast, but I have tried it once in a while.

Never had it but from the description not sure I can handle the marinated chicken feet!

I like Dim Sum, but I never have any clue how much I'm eating. Those crazy carts keep coming around, and before you know it, I've spent $65 on breakfast. I don't think I have the discipline for this sort of food.

I just tried this for the first time in at a restaurant in Boston's Chinatown on Chinese New Year. I honestly couldn't put a name on most of what I ate although pork buns in rice dough were pretty good. This is one of those meals I could do once a year, sort of like sushi.. I only feel like having it on occasion.

In SF, the New Asia Gardens on Pacific Ave., in Chinatown, starts serving up dim sum at 8:00 a.m.!
