Plenty of rock suicides/deaths I would put above Kurt. . . . . .and I love the music. . .Nirvana was a terrific band. But for several reasons, I was more disappointed by this suicide more than anything else. He had a kid - quitting on your kid is simply weak and selfish. . .

Meh, I always though he'd be playing state fairs today if not for that shotgun.

He was okay, a bit of a hipper than thou know it all in terms of his personality. There was always something of a transparent affectation about him to me. His music was all right overall, but to me he certainly wasn't in the Lennon, Dylan, Hendrix category. Thank Christ he didn't die on the same day as Michael Jackson or almost all of RIA would have offed themselves too.

Maybe Kurt is good enough to be in the 'Ringo Starr All-Star Dead Band.'

I was working with juveniles at the time of this death, and lots of kids were affected. Few adults knew who he was.
