 | abichara (60) 08/05/2006 | yeah, but the thing is that it seems to me that it takes only about an inch or two of snow to really shut down the highways in the south. people just panic at the sight of some ice, plus snow removal crews are also a rareity in states like georgia or alabama, thus creating a mess. in comparable situations in cold states, an inch or two would be an afterthought.

If you are from a place that gets a lot of snow...in the south do NOT drive when roads have snow on them...you will be the only one that knows what you are doing. They don't see enough snow in the south and don't have the means of clearing roads to make driving here safe!
