San Matias Anejo

San Matias Anejo Gran Reserva, is my favorite tequilla, it is not 100% blue agave, but from all the anejos that I have tried, I prefer its taste and smoothness. Unfortantely I know only to buy it in Mexico, not in Germany, not in the US and not via the internet.

light, balanced, and smooth. the full name of this tequila from Casa San Matias is anejo gran reserva . it is a skinny black 375ml bottle and is the only anejo with the san matias name in big letters on the front of the bottle. the person who gave the lowest rating might be confusing this name with another San Matias bottle which is just a mixto reposado.

Another very good tequila I had the opportunity to taste and eventuall bought 2 bottles back from Cabo San Lucas. I truly enjoyed it it and share it with my son, my nephews and their friends one evening while smoking a good cigar. this drink has a excellent taste and lite burn that is pleasing to the palate.If i had to chose tequias this one would be near the top.
