I think that sometimes people bank to much on making fun of the president. It takes a little more than a never ending bush joke to make a 30 minute show. It really didn't offer much besides that.

I thought the show was very funny. I wish they were still running episodes and used more of his Bushisms. Although some episodes wre better than others overall I thought it betrayed what I would expect from GW

Funny underlying concept, but not really suited to be a real show. It seemed like a 5-minute skit for Mad TV that was stretched painfully into 10 or so 30-minute episodes. Also, Tim Bottoms must have been one of the last choices to be Bush, because I can think of about 10 actors/comedians better suited to portray the prez. Overall, it went a little too over-the-top; there is a point when camp crosses over from wit to heavy-handed trash, and this show never was north of that boundary.

Loved the concept, hated the show itself.

It was simply a parody (a decent one at that) of a political figure. From the looks of some of these comments, some people apparently took this show way too seriously. On a side note, the actor that played George W. Bush on this short-lived show (Tim Bottoms) also portrayed Bush in a more serious atmosphere in a TV film about 9/11 entitled DC 9/11: A Time of Crisis.

Wasn't funny at all. I couldn't believe it was filmed before a live audience. Was the live audience recruited out of crack dens. The show was Borderline seditious (Most countries would have executed the producers and cast for treason). Vanished right after 9/11 (I wonder why!!!)

Dispicable. We don't need this kind of show about our president. I would say the same if it was about Clinton. Some things are just plain inappropriate.

I thought this show was pretty funny. I love Trey Parker and Matt Stone; they're geniuses. Too bad the show got cancelled.

This show was hilarious when it was still on! I miss it so much! And what makes it even funnier is that I can easily see the real G. W. saying and doing the things that happen in this show.

I tried to sit through this once and it was the dumbest thing I'd EVER seen.

First of all, if you don't think the title is funny, you probably won't find anything else funny about it either. Second, I think George W. Bush is doing a pretty good job in the White House, so they need to make fun of someone else.

It was a good show, I hate that I never see it anymore. Makes fun of all those old, bad sitcoms from back in the day. While kind of too much like those old shows at times it is funny overall. One of these days, I'm gonna punch you in the Face!

Although I was for Gore and he should have won the election, this show that made fun of capable president George W. Bush, is extremly offensive and has lots of nauseating content. Comedy Central is a terror to all, this show included.

Political parody is as old as politics. Don't play the disrespect card. No one would protest if Clinton or Gore got an old comic ribbing. If you can't take it, trash the comic section in your newspaper along with your MAD mags, fight to get shows like SNL off the air, and go live in a monastery. I think another smart viewer on this page would agree. But even more than a political parody the show was a parody of sitcoms.Sitcoms for the most part took you for an idiot and wanted you to believe there was a real studio audience laughing like hyenas at dumb jokes and formulaic scenarios. "All in the Family" was an exception. Matt Stone and Trey Parker wanted you to know the studio audience was fake, and they really rubbed that in our faces when the "Three's Company"- Chrissy" secretary would come in and the audience would howl. Ever wonder if Larry on "3's Co." actually worked - I believe he was a used car salesman but he seemed to live just to pop in spontaneously into the trio's apartme... Read more

I found this show to be pretty good actually. And it's somewhat hard to judge by only the premier episode. It looks like it should pick up. If you're gonna tell me that the show is disrespectful towards the president, then you'd also have to tell that to MAD TV and SNL. It's all in the name of comedy... The fetus on the first episode was hilarious!!!!!

This is just plain awful! I expected it to be so much funnier, considering the media's fascination with making W look like an idiot when he so clearly isn't. I think that the South Park boys need to stick to killing Kenny...

That's My Bush was a disappointment to me, because I was expecting a laugh-out-loud chuckle fest that I would truely enjoy. That's My Bush was funny in the opening scene with Bush and Maggie throwing the piggy bank around and her moving her fat butt, but then when the frat guys came over and stuff, it got truely annoying. The guy who portrays Bush looks like him, but just isn't that funny. The woman who plays Laura, tries playing more of a Carol Brady. But, Marcia Wallace who plays Maggie is what made me laugh, and she was so funny!
