01/22/2006 | The reason I think that Matt Leinhart should go to Tennessee is because Norm Chow is O-coordinator there and Leinhart and him can work together again. But New Orleans picking Leinhart is also a great choice. Great and, but most of all he can stay cool in heated situations. Unfortunatly, whoever goes to New Orleans has to work with Tom Benson (yuck!).

01/22/2006 | The Saints have a new coach and a high Draft Pick. They actually have some talent, but need a quality QB and good coaching. The Saints should take either Vince Young or Matt Leinert with their Number One Pick. I could live with either pick as both have the potential for greatness. With Joe Horn at WR and Duece McAlister at RB, the making of a triumverate on Offense is there. Young is a special talent, a kid built to be a future star. He's Randall Cunningham in a fullback's body. I feel he needs more polish as a QB, but he could very well be a Michael Vick - above average QB who can play and energize an organization and fan base. New Orleans needs that kinda guy. Leinert is just a winner. He has an accurate arm and knows how to win games. Protect him and he'll be the sort of guy who'll carve up a defense once he matures. He's Tom Brady-lite. Either guy could do the job or be a bust. With the Saints luck it could well be bust, but we'll see.
