As it stands, however, I haven't eaten this in 20 years, and if the rest of my life passes without partaking of it, that's just fine with me.

 | TB 303 (5) 02/07/2006 | Just a great oldschool meal. I really like Reuben sandwiches(cornbeef, saurkraut and swiss cheese) but this is the original corn beef meal. By the way I added the pic ;P

 | Randyman (109) 02/01/2006 | The sodium content in corned beef is so high that I had to limit my intake. It's such a great dish and so simple to make. I make corned beef hash with the leftovers. The best corned beef and cabbage I ever ate anywhere was in New York City at a small bar and grill called Jack Demsey's (their spelling, not mine) across from the Empire State Building. It was like eating in a dream. It put my own Corned Beef and Cabbage to shame.
